Dyme Quick Connect An Fittings

When you're working on a performance build, the small details matter just as much as the big power parts. AN fittings might seem like minor components, but when you're chasing reliability, clean installs, and quick serviceability, they become mission-critical. Dyme Quick Connect AN fittings simplify line installation and maintenance, especially in fuel, oil, and coolant systems. With a tool-free connection that locks solid every time, these fittings are becoming a go-to solution for builders who value both performance and efficiency.

6th Gen. Camaro E85 Flex Fuel Kit
from $450.00

Featuring the Advanced Fuel Dynamics E-Sense + DYME PRO/SPEC Quick-Connect Plumbing + GMS Firewall Bracket…

The Ultimate Blend of Form, Function & Motorsports Engineering.

Running E85 on the GM LT engine platform (LT1 / LT4) offers one of the biggest performance gains per dollar when you want maximum power, timing advance and knock protection. Thanks to its effective octane rating (typically 100–105+) and high latent heat of vaporization, E85 dramatically reduces intake charge temperatures and knock tendency compared to even the best pump gasoline you can find. On boosted LT4 applications and high-compression LT1 builds alike, this allows for more ignition timing, higher boost, and more aggressive airflow without detonation, translating directly into substantial horsepower and torque gains. E85 also burns cooler and more evenly, improving cylinder-to-cylinder consistency and providing a wider tuning safety margin under sustained load—critical for track use and high-duty-cycle street cars. While E85 requires increased fuel volume (roughly 30% more than gasoline), the payoff is more power, improved knock resistance, and greater engine protection, making it the fuel of choice for serious LT-platform performance builds when paired with the right pumps, injectors, lines, and ethanol content sensing, and that is where we come in.

Having tested many of the aftermarket solutions on our SHOP CAR, one thing because very clear, very fast. No one had put the time and effort into offering a turn-key, solution that provided everything you want and need to make E85 look good, and easy to install.

Time to walk away from generic flex-fuel kits, using 1980’s restrictive E85 sensors, slow data transfer, dangerous rubber hose, awkward hose routing, and sloppy mounting provisions if any at all.

This Griffin Motorsports Ultimate 6th Gen. E85 + Fuel Filter + Line Kit fixes all of that with click of the mouse.

Built around the Advanced Fuel Dynamics E-Sense high-flow ethanol sensor, plumbed using DYME PRO/SPEC quick-connect fittings and Superleggera carbon-impregnated -6AN PTFE hose, mounted with a custom GMS billet firewall bracket, and displayed using the most advanced digital super gauge on the market, this system delivers unmatched accuracy, durability, and aesthetics.

CORE COMPONENT #1 - Advanced Fuel Dynamics E-Sense Billet Ethanol Content Sensor

Like all of the cool sh*t Advanced Fuel Dynamics seems to come out with, the new E-SENSE is no different. Although it took them 6 years of design, development testing and validating, we now have access to the HIGHEST FLOWING, HIGHEST PERFORMING PERFORMING, MODULAR, ALTERNATIVE TO THE OLD SCHOOL GM/CONTINENTAL FUEL CONTENT SENSOR, that was designed and built from the ground up!

Just to be clear, the old school continental sensors still work! But like all great improvements that are made… why wait until things are broken, or no longer available to start pushing the boundaries, adding functionality, increasing flow and most of all, provide the end user as much mounting and connection options as possible. Which is exactly what we are doing with our E-SENSE Flex Fuel Sensor & Bracket Package.

FEATURES & BENEFITS;

  • Massive Flow Rate: Up to 12x the fuel flow rate of the GM/Continental sensor, eliminating flow restrictions and reducing fuel turbulence. Perfect for those like me that had already upgraded to -8AN Fuel lines, but were then stuck with the continental sensor bottleneck.

  • Modular Fittings: for me the biggest advantage of the E-SENSE is the creative Interchangeable fittings for OE style 5/16", 3/8" and 1/2" quick connect, and threaded -6AN, -8AN, -10AN, and - 12AN, or - 8AN ORB which helps to ensure seamless integration with various OEM and custom fuel systems with no bulky, expensive bypass requirements.

  • Proven Accuracy: Advanced Fuel Dynamics invested in extensive testing to ensure the new E-SENSE was not just “AS” accurate as the old GM/Continental sensor but “MORE ACCURATE” with additional sophisticated temperature compensation. Sensing ethanol content is not linear when it comes to fuel temps. In other words, the calculations are not a two-dimensional graph. For each change in fuel temperature there is a corresponding, unique calculation. The ESense has a more thorough compensation map to temperature than the GM sensor. In other worlds, more adjustment for smaller temperature changes. This makes it more accurate at all temps ranges.

  • Output Compatibility: The E-SENSE uses the same 50-150Hz output range as Continental Sensor ensuring perfect system and harness compatibility.

  • Integrated 5v Output: Separate native 0-5v analyzer/converter signal;
    .5v=0%, 4.5v=100%

  • Compact Design: Low-profile fitting and compact housing for effortless installation in tight spaces. Includes threaded holes for use with our GMS bracket and or your custom mounting needs.

  • Reliable and Durable: Hardened electronics with OE-quality components ensure consistent performance and longevity.

  • Easy Adaptation: Seamlessly adapts to GM/Continental harness connector, which helps minimize installation time.

  • Enhanced Fuel Management: Provides output for fuel content and fuel temperature giving you unparalleled control over fuel management.

  • Billet Housing and Made in USA: Reflecting their commitment to quality, durability, and supporting local manufacturing.

Wiring Connection Options;

  1. Continental Harness Adapter (plug the new E-SENSE directly into your existing GM / Continental sensor connector. This is perfect for those who already had an E85 sensor, but are wanting to upgrade)

  2. Full Wiring Harness (no bluetooth) Perfect for those who intend to track their E content with a Banks iDash PRO or similar.

In short, we could not be happier with the fruits of there 6 year investment into this amazing sensor, and to be able to not only run this on our SHOP CAR with great success, but to be able to package it with the following products.

CORE COMPONENT #2 - DYME Quick-Connect Fittings + Superleggera -6AN PTFE Hose

The most advanced motorsport plumbing on the planet.

Prior to finding our friends at DYME, our old fuel system consisted of durable VITON lined rubber hose, and quality AN fittings. For the year we tested this kit, it worked, but it left a lot to be desired. So when we saw the magical fittings the team at DYME has developed at PRI, along with a super flexible PTFE hose, it didn’t take long before we scrapped out kit, and redesigned it from the ground up. Why? because DYME’s patented quick connect fittings help eliminate adapters, reduce user installation error, are easier to install / service and hands down the best looking fitting on the market.

DYME PRO/SPEC Quick-Connects

  • CNC-machined, high-pressure, motorsport-rated

  • Quick-release serviceability with AN-grade sealing

  • Compatible with 3/8" SAE J2044 OEM-style connections

  • Perfect for LT fuel rails, flex-fuel sensors, and in-tank module interfaces

Superleggera Aramid/PTFE Hose (-6AN)

  • Carbon-impregnated smoothbore PTFE core (anti-static, E85-safe)

  • Twaron® aramid fiber braid — stronger and lighter than steel

  • Approx. 1,949 psi working / 9,500+ psi burst pressure

  • Excellent flexibility and tight-radius routing

  • Zero permeation, zero odor, zero swell from ethanol or methanol

This combination delivers the cleanest, safest, highest-performance E85 plumbing option for the LT platform — without the bulk, smell, or degradation of rubber hose.

CORE COMPONENT #3 - Griffin Motorsports Custom Firewall-Mount Bracket

Although we were guilty of zip-tying our first GM Continental Ethanol sensors to the firewall also, it’s not like we had any other good options…. until NOW. What better way to secure your new all billet ethanol sensor then to position it directly behind the blower on the firewall for a symmetrical and secure fit using our .125” thick powder coated aluminum bracket for the perfect blend of foam and function.

KEY FEATURES;

  • Locks the E-Sense into a fixed, protected location

  • Keeps the lines straight, supported, and stress-free

  • Includes a .125” thick silicone vibration insulator pad

  • Places the sensor where it’s easy to access, inspect & service

  • Machined for perfect fitment on LT1/LT4 Camaro/ZL1 platforms

By popular demand, Griffin Motorsports is now offering a TURN KEY auxiliary fuel filter + fuel line connection kit bundle to help make things easier when connecting to the OEM fuel system lines. This is a MUST HAVE for those who are running upgraded Di Injectors, and want to protect your investment from harmful contaminents, and don’t want to clutter up the engine bay. Which was exactly the case that motivated us to create the custom bracket that would support the serviceable Racetronix fuel filter we wanted to use.

We chose this specific Racetronix filter housing for a few distinct reasons. 1: At only 5.5” long and approximately. 2” in diameter and equipped with -10 ORB high flow directional inlets and outlets this this filter body works double duty by being super compact yet high-flowing, which allows you the flexibility to use a wide range of fuel lines from -6 to -10 depending on your fuel volume needs. 2: Was the intelligent two piece case design allowing you access to inspect / clear or replacement the 10 Micron 304SS Filter Element with magnetic base.

For the bracket, it was important that we utilize the largest cavity under the car for easy access even when working off jack stands like me. We designed this bracket to perfectly contour the dimensions of this filter body, and utilizes OEM attachment points. The .063” aluminum bracket is lightweight, and treated to a durable satin wrinkle black powder coat and paired with SS clamp hardware.

DYME Quick-Connect Fittings + Superleggera -6AN PTFE Hose

Here’s how I’d write those two sections in your GMS voice—technical, persuasive, and grounded in real-world consequences for high-performance LT builds.

Why This Matters

Upgrading your fueling need via larger Di injectors, or Port Injection, is one of the most critical steps in pushing your LT engine to the next level—but it also dramatically increases your system’s sensitivity to contamination.

Your factory fuel system was never designed to support the flow rate, duty cycle, and precision tolerances of high-flow DI injectors. When you step into larger injectors, higher ethanol content fuels, or increased fuel volume, you’re introducing more fuel—and more opportunity for microscopic debris to make its way into the most sensitive components in your engine.

That’s the problem this kit solves.

This system adds a high-flow, serviceable filtration stage upstream of your low side fuel pump, giving you protection where it actually matters—before contaminants can reach the injector internals. The compact, high-flow design ensures you’re not sacrificing fuel delivery while adding protection, and the clean integration keeps your engine bay looking like it belongs on a show car, not a science experiment.

Bottom line:
If you’ve invested in upgraded injectors, flex fuel, or higher horsepower levels—this isn’t optional protection. It’s part of a properly engineered fuel system.

Risks of Not Upgrading Your Fuel Filter…

Here’s the reality most people overlook… When you increase injector size and fuel demand, you’re not just increasing performance—you’re increasing risk exposure.

1. Injector Clogging (The Silent Power Killer)

High-flow DI injectors have extremely tight internal tolerances. Even tiny particles can disrupt spray patterns or partially block flow.

What that leads to:

  • Lean cylinders

  • Inconsistent AFR across the bank

  • Loss of power and drivability issues

And the worst part? You often won’t see it immediately—it shows up as inconsistent data, not a clean failure.

2. Poor Atomization = Lost Power & Increased Knock

A compromised injector doesn’t atomize fuel correctly.

That means:

  • Larger fuel droplets

  • Reduced combustion efficiency

  • Higher knock tendency (especially on E blends or high boost)

You’re literally leaving horsepower on the table—and increasing engine stress at the same time.

3. Accelerated Injector Wear (Shortened Lifespan)

Contaminants don’t just clog injectors—they erode them over time.

With higher fuel flow rates:

  • More debris passes through the system

  • Wear happens faster

  • Expensive injectors degrade prematurely

You end up replacing injectors far sooner than expected—turning a $1,500–$3,500 investment into a recurring expense.

4. High-Pressure System Damage

On LT platforms, everything downstream of the low side matters:

  • High-pressure fuel pump

  • Injector internals

  • Sealing surfaces

Contaminants can damage these components, leading to:

  • Pressure instability

  • Fuel delivery inconsistencies

  • Costly repairs beyond just injectors

5. Increased Risk with Ethanol Fuels (E60–E85)

If you’re running ethanol blends (which most high-power LT builds are), this becomes even more critical.

Ethanol:

  • Can carry more moisture and debris

  • Tends to loosen deposits inside the fuel system

  • Increases total fuel volume demand

That combination means more contamination moving through your system—exactly why additional filtration becomes essential.

One of the standout benefits of Dyme fittings is their ability to maintain a secure seal even under high pressure and constant vibration. Whether you’re street driving or track racing, these fittings won’t loosen or leak over time. That makes them a smart choice for performance and safety.

Easier Maintenance And Faster Changes

Fuel system maintenance used to mean draining fuel and dealing with tools. Not anymore. Dyme’s quick-disconnect design lets you unhook and reattach fuel lines in seconds without compromising the integrity of the connection.

Benefits Of Quick Disconnect AN Adapters

Quick disconnect AN adapters are more than a convenience. They’re a performance upgrade for anyone who works on their vehicle often or pushes it hard. These adapters streamline everything from installation to maintenance without sacrificing durability or flow:

Tool-Free Line Changes

Quick-disconnect adapters eliminate the need for wrenches or line clamps when connecting or disconnecting AN lines. This is especially helpful in tight engine bays or during trackside repairs where time and accessibility matter.

Reduced Wear On Hose Ends

Constantly tightening and loosening traditional fittings can wear out hose ends or damage the threads. Quick disconnect adapters reduce this stress and help preserve the life of both the fittings and the hoses over time.

Clean, Professional Installation

These adapters don’t just perform well. They also look great. With a clean, uniform fit and finish, quick disconnect systems offer a polished appearance that complements any serious build. This is especially true when paired with high-quality upgrades like our Stage.II Oil Cooler Package.

Minimized Downtime

In racing or tuning environments, downtime is the enemy. Quick disconnect AN adapters help you make fast changes to your system without leaks, tools, or delays. That lets you get back in the driver’s seat sooner.

Choosing The Right AN Hose Connection Fittings

Not all AN fittings are created equal, and picking the right setup can make or break your system’s performance. From sizing to application-specific needs, here’s what to consider when choosing an AN hose connection fitting:

Match The Fitting Size To Your Line And Flow Needs

Start by selecting the correct AN size. Too small, and you risk fuel starvation. Too large, and you may run into routing challenges. AN-6 and AN-8 are common for fuel systems, while AN-10 or larger may be used for oil or coolant lines in high-power builds.

Consider The Type Of Connection You Need

Dyme fittings offer quick-connect capabilities and are available in straight, 45°, and 90° configurations. Think about where your lines run and choose a shape that minimizes stress on the hoses and allows for clean routing.

Choose Materials That Match The Demands

High-quality aluminum fittings are lightweight and corrosion-resistant, making them ideal for most automotive fluids. Dyme’s fittings are crafted with durability in mind, handling temperature and pressure fluctuations without failure.

Ensure Compatibility With Your System

Whether you're using OEM lines or building a custom setup, make sure your AN hose fittings are compatible with your components. This includes checking hose end types and thread patterns. It's especially important when upgrading Camaro ZL1 aftermarket parts.

Installation Tips For AN Fuel Line Fittings

Installing AN fuel line fittings correctly is key to achieving a leak-free, reliable system. Whether you're a first-timer or a seasoned builder, a few extra steps can make a big difference in long-term performance:

  • Use the Right Tools for the Job: Avoid damaging the fittings by using AN-specific wrenches and soft-jaw vise inserts. These tools help maintain the anodized finish and ensure a precise fit during assembly.

  • Double-Check Hose Length and Routing: Before cutting any hose, test your line routing with the components in place. Be sure to leave enough slack to accommodate engine movement and avoid tight bends that can restrict flow or stress the fittings.

  • Lubricate and Seat Fittings Properly: Use a small amount of assembly lube on the threads and o-rings to prevent galling and improve seal quality. When connecting Dyme quick-connect fittings, make sure you hear or feel the positive click that indicates a full seat.

  • Pressure Test the System After Assembly: Once your fittings are in place, run a pressure test to verify everything is sealed. This step is especially important when working with high-pressure fuel systems or after replacing critical components like ZL1 cooling mods.
