When it comes to unlocking the true potential of your Gen V LT engine, fuel flow limitations can be a major roadblock. Even with a larger camshaft fuel lobe, and a low side boost-a-pump, it doesn't take long before the stock mechanical fuel pump, injectors and low-side pump struggle to keep up with the fueling needs from ported blowers, more boost, bolt ons, and E85. Although the benefits of Direct Injection are clear, taking your LT4 from a stock 550rwhp to the all to common 850rwhp + requires an investment in fuel volume availability. Luckily, the bright minds at Katech have created some amazing Di solutions to help us meet our goals, and have generated power levels over 1,400 horsepower on gasoline and 1,200 horsepower on E85 in Katech’s rigorous in-house testing using these part combinations.
Katech Dual Drop In Low Side Fuel Pump;
Engineered to cater to the needs of Gen 6 Camaro and CTS V3 enthusiasts. This fuel pump module was meticulously designed to accommodate twin OEM grade high-output fuel pumps. This sealed drop-in fuel pump module retains ALL FACTORY FUNCTIONALITY, including low-level fueling performance which no other solution on the market has. You can operate this fuel system on the road course with factory low-level fuel performance unlike the aux pump and unsealed module solutions currently on the market.
Low Level Fuel Performance:
KAT-A7838 guarantees uncompromised performance under all conditions. By retaining the factory low-level fueling prowess and incorporating a venturi system, the fuel module ensures a continuous flow of fuel at all fuel levels, outpacing even the most demanding scenarios. Requirements to Run this module:
To use the Katech Lowside Fueling Solution, a post-pump fuel filter (5-10 micron, stainless or micro fiberglass, E85 rated) is required. Lots of good options available to you. We designed THIS one specifically for the 6th Gen. Camaro Platform and it also incorporates in our custom DYME quick connect fittings and hoses. The KAT-A7815 Plug & Play Controller/Harness allows for a seamless integration with no cutting or drilling required.

Our Impressions; Having installed this kit ourselves onto our 1,000hp SHOP CAR, I can tell you that this kit not only works, but it works well. Granted, we did install ours using our GMS back-seat access hatch (which made the installation a lot easier) I will tell you that this kit is well thought out, and generally easy to install. Although we are not pushing our shop car hard yet, we are able to run straight pump E85 in our car using this set-up, and we love to enough to share it with you!
