Thinking outside the box, and aiming to improve things that may not be broken “just yet”, are just a few things we focus on and think about on a daily basis here at Griffin Motorsports. This mindset has served us well, and because of that we are always on the hunt for other like-minded products, people and brands.
When we were “re-working” the fuel system on our 850rwhp 2022 Camaro ZL1 1LE, in became apparent that the old school, GM continental sensor quickly became the “weak link” due to the bottle neck in flow, lack of mounting brackets, and a lack of fitting options. Despite all of that, we pressed on to make it work, but were still looking for a future alternative.
Luckily, it didn’t tale long after “making it work” to discover that this topic and solution was already deep into the development stage for our friends at Advanced Fuel Dynamics… who invested heavily over the last 6 years to bring this amazing concept to market. And boy, I am glad they did, because their solution is absolutely incredible!
They call it their E-SENSE Flex Fuel Content Sensor.
Like all of the cool sh*t Advanced Fuel Dynamics seems to come out with, the new E-SENSE is no different. Although it took them 6 years of design, development testing and validating, we now have access to the HIGHEST FLOWING, HIGHEST PERFORMING PERFORMING, MODULAR, ALTERNATIVE TO THE OLD SCHOOL GM/CONTINENTAL FUEL CONTENT SENSOR, that was designed and built from the ground up!
Just to be clear, the old school continental sensors still work! But like all great improvements that are made… why wait until things are broken, or no longer available to start pushing the boundaries, adding functionality, increasing flow and most of all, provide the end user as much mounting and connection options as possible. Which is exactly what we are doing with our E-SENSE Flex Fuel Sensor & Bracket Package.
Key Features and Benefits:
Massive Flow Rate: Up to 12x the fuel flow rate of the GM/Continental sensor, eliminating flow restrictions and reducing fuel turbulence. Perfect for those like me that had already upgraded to -8AN Fuel lines, but were then stuck with the continental sensor bottleneck.
Modular Fittings: for me the biggest advantage of the E-SENSE is the creative Interchangeable fittings for OE style 5/16", 3/8" and 1/2" quick connect, and threaded -6AN, -8AN, -10AN, and - 12AN, or - 8AN ORB which helps to ensure seamless integration with various OEM and custom fuel systems with no bulky, expensive bypass requirements.
Proven Accuracy: Advanced Fuel Dynamics invested in extensive testing to ensure the new E-SENSE was not just “AS” accurate as the old GM/Continental sensor but “MORE ACCURATE” with additional sophisticated temperature compensation. Sensing ethanol content is not linear when it comes to fuel temps. In other words, the calculations are not a two-dimensional graph. For each change in fuel temperature there is a corresponding, unique calculation. The ESense has a more thorough compensation map to temperature than the GM sensor. In other worlds, more adjustment for smaller temperature changes. This makes it more accurate at all temps ranges.
Output Compatibility: The E-SENSE uses the same 50-150Hz output range as Continental Sensor ensuring perfect system and harness compatibility.
Integrated 5v Output: Separate native 0-5v analyzer/converter signal; .5v=0%, 4.5v=100%
Compact Design: Low-profile fitting and compact housing for effortless installation in tight spaces. Includes threaded holes for use with our GMS bracket and or your custom mounting needs.
Reliable and Durable: Hardened electronics with OE-quality components ensure consistent performance and longevity.
Easy Adaptation: Seamlessly adapts to GM/Continental harness connector, which helps minimize installation time.

Full Wiring Harness + Bluetooth module) Perfect for those who DO NOT intend to track their E content with a Banks iDash PRO or similar, and prefer to track in on a iPhone or Android app.
What you will need to provide;
An aftermarket gauge like the Banks iDash PRO to monitor your E content if you decide against using the Flexlink bluetooth app module.
Mounting Bracket / Fuel Lines. Although we include a firewall mounting bracket in our DELUXE kit, along with a DYME quick connect fuel line, this kit was intended for those who plan on doing a custom install as far as location and lines.
