Katech 95mm Ported Throttle Body
When it comes to making more power, it helps to remember that an engine simply an air pump. The goal is to get the most amount of air in and out of the engine as fast as possible.
Meeting that objective can be done in many ways, and the benefits are incredible. We have all seen simple bolt-on ZL1’s making over 800whp without even cracking the engine.
When paired with a high-flow exhaust, simple upgrades to the inlet side like a Rotofab Intake and Katech Ported 95mm TB can be a great way to increase inlet airflow, volume and ultimately power.
If you are thinking about a KONG X Ported blower any time soon, then I would suggest you upgrade straight to a Katech 103mm TB.
But for those who have no intention of porting the blower, and want to retain the stock throttle body looks, than the CNC ported Katech 95mm might be right for you!
Katech Part Number KAT-A7251, starts life as an OEM LT5 throttle body and is then CNC ported and hand finished for improved airflow. No tune required (on C7 ZR1, conversions may require tuning)
When using with a stock LT1 intake manifold or stock non-ported LT4 superchargers the Katech KAT-A7165 - 95mm tapered to 87mm adapter plate is required.
