Genuine GM LT4 Direct Fuel Injector – Part #19420334

Restore the precise fuel delivery, cold-start performance and drivability engineered into your supercharged LT4 with a genuine GM Original Equipment direct fuel injector.

GM #19420334 is the current nominal-flow service injector used in multiple LT4-powered Chevrolet and Cadillac applications. Unlike conventional port injectors, the LT4 injector operates directly inside the combustion chamber under extremely high fuel pressure. Its spray targeting, fuel atomization and electronic characteristics are specifically engineered to work with the factory cylinder head, high-pressure fuel rail and GM engine-management system.

This is an excellent choice for LT1 users wanting an additional 16% more flow, or for exiting LT4 users replacing a failed, leaking, contaminated or damaged injector while retaining factory-level performance and calibration characteristics.

Features

  • Genuine GM/ACDelco OEM Component #19420334

  • Approximately 17.7 grams per second at 100 bar

  • Factory spray pattern and combustion-chamber targeting

  • Designed for high-pressure direct injection

  • Maintains OEM cold-start, idle and drivability characteristics

  • Engineered for the heat and pressure of supercharged LT4 applications

  • Seal + CLIP included

Common Applications

  • 2015–2019 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 with LT4

  • 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 with LT5

  • 2016–2019 Cadillac CTS-V with LT4

  • 2017–2024 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 with LT4

  • 2022–2026 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing with LT4

  • Compatible Gen V LT engine conversions using the appropriate 7.5 mm injector configuration

Vehicle production changes, injector diameter and injector identification markings can affect compatibility. Please verify your application before ordering.

Important Injector-Matching Information

GM direct injectors may be identified by different production markings or flow classifications. Replacement injectors should match the vehicle’s existing injector type and calibration requirements. Do not mix incompatible injector families or flow classifications within the engine.

When replacing an injector from a different production group, GM service information may require replacing multiple injectors on the affected rail. For modified engines or complete fuel-system service, a properly matched set of eight injectors is strongly recommended.

Direct-injection combustion seals require the correct installation and sizing procedure. Improperly installed or reused seals can cause combustion leakage, misfires or injector damage. Installation should be performed using the appropriate DI injector tools and current GM service procedures.

Is this an Injector Upgrade?

Compared with the standard LT1/L86 injector, the OEM LT4 injector provides approximately 16% greater static flow capacity while retaining factory GM spray targeting and drivability. This makes it a proven OEM-style upgrade for compatible Gen V LT applications that need more fuel than the original naturally aspirated injector can provide.

For an otherwise stock LT4, or a moderately modified combination that remains within the factory injector’s available pulse-width and high-pressure fuel-system capacity, the GM LT4 injector remains an excellent and cost-effective solution.

When Should You Upgrade to XDI High-Flow Injectors?

Consider stepping up to the XDI +30%, +50% or +70% high-flow injector line when the engine’s fuel demand begins pushing the OEM LT4 injectors beyond a safe injection window, particularly with increased boost, larger superchargers, high ethanol content or substantially higher horsepower. Warning signs include excessive injector pulse width, insufficient time to complete injection at high rpm, or a calibration that cannot deliver the required fuel even though high-side rail pressure remains stable.

The XDI +30% injector is a strong choice for many modified street and track combinations that have exceeded OEM injector capacity while still prioritizing factory-like drivability. The XDI +50% provides additional headroom for higher-output builds like our GMS Shop Car. The XDI +70% is intended for specialized maximum-effort applications and requires careful calibration; it carries a published maximum operating pressure of 193 bar.

High-flow injectors do not replace the need for adequate pump capacity. To use their full potential, the low-pressure supply, camshaft fuel lobe and high-pressure fuel pump must be capable of maintaining commanded rail pressure throughout the pull. Every XDI injector upgrade requires custom tuning, and the entire fuel system should be selected as a matched package based on fuel type, power goal, boost curve and intended use.
