ARP LT1/LT4 Header Stud Kit
ARP Stainless Header Stud Kit – Gen V LT Engines #434-1401
In typically Griffin Motorsports fashion, we are always on the lookout for products that offer that perfect blend of form and function. Ditching our ugly OEM header bolts for the new ARP 12-point stainless studs was a no brainer one we realized how much easier it is to remove and install headers with them on. These high performance stainless steel studs not only look amazing when installed, but they act as a second set of hands keeping your new manifold gasket held in place while to gently finesse your long tube header of choice into position. When you install long-tube headers on a Gen V LT engine, the factory bolts can quickly turn into a weak link. Repeated installation and removal, heat cycles, vibration, can cause aluminum-head thread wear which cause the OEM bolts to loosen, contributing to possible exhaust leaks, warped flanges, inaccurate O₂ data, burnt plug wires, and power loss.
