6th Gen. Camaro Driveshaft Center Support Upgrade
Say Hello, to the Bad A** JXB Driveshaft Carrier Upgrade! The best option for…
Eliminating driveline slack. Locking the bearing in place & restoring the response GM left on the table.
If you've ever felt that slight delay, clunk, or driveline “wind-up” when re-applying throttle in your 6th-gen Camaro, the problem is often the factory driveshaft carrier. GM used a soft rubber bushing to keep NVH out of the cabin — great for a commuter, terrible for a car that sees real load, real power, or real track use. As that rubber ages, it sags, cracks, and lets the center bearing walk off-axis, which throws the driveshaft out of alignment and introduces slop into the entire drivetrain.
The JXB carrier replaces that weak OEM rubber with a precision-machined housing and high-durometer bushings that lock the bearing in a fixed, centered position — no flex, no sag, no delay. The result is a tighter, more direct connection between engine, transmission, and rear axle. Throttle hits harder. Shifts feel cleaner. Launches happen without the “rubber band” effect.
Why This Upgrade Matters
Stock carrier can fail in as little as 5 years — even on low-mile cars
Misalignment stresses U-joints and adds vibration under load
Added power, sticky tires, clutch dumps, or track miles accelerate OEM failure
A rigid, centered carrier restores the drivetrain feel the car should’ve had from the factory
Available Options
Same design. Different durometers. Choose what fits your build.
STREET: Ideal for daily-driven or weekend cars
Soaks up most NVH while eliminating OEM slop
TRACK : About 2× the stiffness of Street
Maximum rigidity for drag, road course, autocross, and high-power builds
GIVE ME BOTH: Includes both sets of bushings
Mix, match, or test — tune your driveline feel your way
Real-World Improvements Reported by Camaro Owners
Faster on-throttle response
Firmer, more “connected” shifts
Cleaner, more immediate launches
Fixes vibration caused by failed OEM rubber
Smoother low-speed on/off throttle behavior (1st gear, parking lots, staging lanes)
Fitment: 2016–2024 Chevrolet Camaro — ALL models
LS / LT / RS / SS / 1LE / ZL1 / Manual & A10 / Coupe & Convertible
Product often ships direct from JXB.
About JXB Performance
JXB is a U.S.-based motorsports engineering company known for precision-machined drivetrain components built to survive real track abuse. Every driveshaft carrier is CNC-cut from billet, designed in-house, and assembled with serviceable bushings — no molded rubber, no disposable hardware. Their parts are trusted in everything from time-attack builds to 1,000+ hp street cars, and Griffin Motorsports is proud to offer them to the 6th-gen Camaro community.
If you’re building power, putting down real grip, or just tired of the OEM carrier turning to dust — this is the fix. Install it once, and never think about it again.
