BTR Gen V LT - Three Bolt Cam Gear
BTR Four-Pole Three-Bolt Cam Gear #BTR86481
The matching sprocket for your LT three-bolt camshaft upgrade.
The BTR86481 is an LS2/LS3-style, four-pole camshaft timing sprocket with a three-bolt mounting pattern. Designed as an equivalent to GM 12586481, it provides the fixed cam gear used when upgrading from a single-bolt configuration to a compatible three-bolt camshaft.
For customers choosing the three-bolt version of our Rick Crawford LT4 camshaft, this sprocket is one component of the conversion. Pair it with the ARP 134-1003 Three-Bolt Camshaft Sprocket Bolt Kit, sold separately, to secure the gear to the camshaft.

Gen V LT / LT4 compatibility
Installation on a Gen V LT engine requires a compatible three-bolt camshaft and the correct timing-cover (LME or TSP), cam-sensor, and VVT-delete arrangement for that specific combination. This sprocket does not retain active VVT and does not convert a single-bolt camshaft into a three-bolt camshaft.
Confirm compatibility with your camshaft and conversion components before ordering, or email us at gabe@griffin-motorsports.com for help.
