Griffin Motorsports wasn’t started in a boardroom. It wasn’t built by investors, marketing teams, or people chasing trends. It was built in the garage, out of frustration, curiosity, and a relentless drive to fix things, before they were broken.

My name is Gabe Griffin, and I’ve spent over 20 years in the world of manufacturing. Working hands-on, designing, engineering, learning how things are built, where they fail, and what separates a product that “looks good” to a product that “is good”.

In early 2022 that mindset carried over into my personal Camaro ZL1 1LE, and ultimately became the foundation of this company.

Where It Began…

Our first product wasn’t planned. It was planted. The image at least, In my head, after staring at the front grill, trying improve the effectiveness of the front mounted heat exchanger. I needed a better solution for cooling and airflow, which led to designing and building my own custom crash bar. Something lighter, more creative, and built with purpose, not compromise. That single part not only solved a real problem, It sparked interest, orders, and the sparked the fire that fuels our passion for fixing things before they are broken.

The Evolution…

As the build progressed, and more power was made, new challenges showed up. Heat management, hardware limitations, design inefficiencies. Each one led to another solution. One solution turned into a pattern, and that pattern turned into a system.

Before long, Griffin Motorsports became more than a single product, it became a process: Identify the weak point, Engineer a better solution, Test it in the real world… Repeat. At the same time, it became clear that no single part works in isolation. That’s where the next step came in. Offering carefully selected supporting components that complement what we build. Our chance to give our clients as close to a “one stop shop” offering as possible.

Built on Purpose…

Everything here exists for a reason. I don’t design parts to fill a catalog, I build them to solve problems I’ve personally faced, under similar conditions you’re pushing your car through. If it doesn’t fix something, improve something, or hold up under pressure, it doesn’t make it.
